Shape - the "Theory"
You will see here the panorama of the formal educational
places I experienced. It is a mosaic of my lifetime but
clearly does not show all of my education - much of it is
imbedded in the lessons learned over a long span of time.
It was fun for me to put this list together - to
walk down memory lane while I put the hyperlinks
together.
We in America have a lot of indoctrinated respect for education, colleges, and degrees. I've got a lot of that stuff. But the critical factor for me is that I still have curiosity of a 6 year-old. Every day is still full of new things to learn, incubate, and assimilate.
Just take a look at the list, unless the item talks to you. Then click on it and you'll wind up on that website. And maybe you'll come back after your exploration.
This list impressed me - yup, I've done a lot of eduational stuff. But all in parallel with practical experience at the same time. I don't think of myself as an "educated incompetent" - I do speculate a lot: and will sometimes act on the result. So I like the idea of practical philosopher as a moniker.
